About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and ownership-driven finance professional to manage end-to-end GST and TDS compliance, revenue accounting, and financial controls. This role will ensure strong financial hygiene, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness across processes.
Key Responsibilities:
GST & Compliance:
Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns
Perform monthly GST reconciliations (books vs returns, input/output, etc.)
Act as APOB (Additional Place of Business) owner for warehousing and ensure GST compliance across locations
TDS & Taxation:
Manage TDS reconciliations and ensure adherence to applicable tax regulations
Revenue Accounting:
Oversee revenue recognition ensuring it is timely, accurate, and in line with accounting standards
Financial Hygiene & Controls:
Maintain clean, audit-ready books of accounts at all times
Strengthen internal controls, governance, and reporting frameworks
Audit & Reporting:
Provide support during statutory, internal, and tax audits (data preparation, query resolution)
Maintain and publish compliance trackers accurately and on time
Coordination & Operations:
Coordinate HSN creation and tax rate monitoring for new products and listings
Work with third-party partners and warehouse operators to ensure proper documentation, invoicing, and compliance
Process Improvement:
Identify discrepancies proactively and drive resolution
Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Key Skills & Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or taxation
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with reconciliations and audit processes
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
